Hey!

My name is Wendy Almeida and I am a chef in the making. I’m sharing my experiences and knowledge with those who do what I do and love it. I believe that the moment we stop learning, we forget everything we already know. One of the life lessons taught and reinforced in the kitchen is to learn something by the end of the day. It doesn’t necessarily have to be something “new,” but anything that adds value to food and life itself.

Food is about an experience. It’s as much of a physical thing as it is emotional and spiritual in essence. With food, every ingredient takes time to grow and every item time, to prepare. And behind every dish, there is a multitude of people who stand behind the craft and truly believe in what they do.
